Our Serene Amé wedding gowns are a beautiful choice for brides who want fashion-forward design, refined tailoring, and romantic detail. We love this collection for anyone drawn to a polished bridal look that feels elevated without losing softness.
She can expect a private, supportive appointment with personal styling from start to finish. At LUV Bridal Fort Lauderdale, we offer a 90-minute private appointment in our showroom with a dedicated bridal stylist, and she can bring up to 4 guests with refreshments provided. We carry hundreds of off-the-rack samples across our showroom, and we also have multiple colors and sizes of favorite styles to try on, which helps us compare silhouettes and details more clearly. That one-on-one setting makes it much easier to narrow down what feels most like her.
Ivory is still the most requested bridal tone because it flatters most skin tones and photographs softly. That said, many brides also love warmer or more dimensional tones when they want lace, texture, or couture-inspired detailing to stand out a little more. If you're helping someone choose, we usually suggest thinking about venue light, season, and undertones in the skin before focusing on what's trending. During an appointment, we can help compare tones in person so the gown feels harmonious rather than too stark or too yellow.
We recommend shopping as early as you comfortably can so there is room for both decision-making and alterations. Even when a bride falls in love quickly, she still needs time for fit adjustments and for choosing the right veil, jewelry, and underpinnings. If the wedding date is closer, we can still help by showing gowns she can actually try on from our off-the-rack samples and talking through the best next steps. If you have a specific timeline in mind, we'd be happy to talk it through with you directly.
Many brides do have options for getting a better fit or a look that feels more personal, but the exact possibilities depend on the gown. In bridal, some changes are handled through ordering options while others are better done in alterations, and what works well can vary based on fabric, structure, lace placement, and neckline. We also carry multiple sizes of favorite styles to try on, which helps us identify the closest fit before discussing next steps. If there's a specific detail you're hoping to change, we’d be happy to confirm what may be possible for that gown.
The best accessories are the ones that support the gown rather than compete with it. If the dress has strong detailing, sculptural lines, or couture-inspired texture, we usually recommend keeping jewelry clean and intentional so the overall look stays polished. A simple veil can soften a modern silhouette, while a more dramatic veil tends to work best with gowns that have cleaner lines through the bodice and skirt. We help brides style the full look by balancing shine, texture, neckline, and hairstyle so everything feels cohesive.
The most flattering silhouette is the one that creates balance and feels comfortable when she moves, sits, and stands. A-line gowns are often loved for their versatility, ball gowns create drama and definition through the waist, fit-and-flare styles highlight curves, and simpler structured gowns can look especially striking when the tailoring is strong. Long sleeves, necklines, and seam placement also make a big difference in how a gown frames the shoulders, waist, and hips. During her appointment, we usually encourage trying more than one shape because the gown that surprises her is often the one that feels best on.
